The Municipal Library of Bayamón Dra. Pilar Barbosa, offers services to the community of Bayamón and to all those citizens that request library and information services. Our Library gathers the printed, audiovisual and electronic materials needed to direct individual and community group activities.
General Archive and National Library of Puerto Rico
The National Library of Puerto Rico has the mission of acquiring, conserving and disseminating bibliographic documents produced and edited in Puerto Rico or abroad but that address issues related to that country. It was founded in 1967 as the General Library of Puerto Rico, under the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture and officially opened in 1973.1 By law number 188 of August 17, 2003, the library became considered a national library. Share headquarters with the General Archive of Puerto Rico.
Associated with it is the Concha Meléndez Library House, which houses the teacher's personal library, specializing in Hispanic American literature and literary criticism. 2 The library is based in a nineteenth-century building that it shares with the General Archives of Puerto Rico.

Pedro Rosselló Governing Museum Library
The documentary collection of former Governor Dr. Pedro Rosselló was donated to the Ana G. Méndez University System, in accordance with Law Number 290 approved in the Thirteenth (13th) Legislative Assembly on September 1, 2000. The Universidad del Turabo was designed to host the documentary collection of former governor Dr. Pedro Rosselló, to guard, preserve, organize, and make available to the public the documents of Dr. Pedro Rosselló. The Library is an interactive and dynamic facility that allows immediate and efficient access to the available information and which in turn serves as a place for the exchange of ideas, symposiums, talks and discussions at regional, national and international levels. The Digitalization Project aims to facilitate virtual access and study to almost a decade of public service.
Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico Library
In commemoration of its 50th Anniversary, the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico will hold an exhibition about its history, as well as important events that have made this the most prestigious private university institution in the field of engineering and architecture since its foundation. in 1966.
Starting on July 18 and until the 24 of this month will be on the first level of Plaza Las Americas, in front of the Zara store. In Plaza del Caribe in Ponce from July 29 to 31, in the central area of the first level; and in Plaza del Sol in Bayamón, from August 1 to 7, in front of the Victoria's Secret store.
"We want to share with all of Puerto Rico the celebration of this half century of learning with renowned professors, the highest accreditations in all our schools and a complete variety of associate degrees, bachelor's degrees, masters and doctorates," said Ernesto Vázquez Barquet, president of the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.
The exhibition has several panels that present a journey through the interesting history of the Polytechnic University. In them you can see how it has evolved, from years before it was officially founded, through the legacy that has left in the community it serves to the various special projects and research in which both teachers and students have worked and contributed to Our Island.
Rafael Hernández Colón Library Foundation
The Rafael Hernández Colón Library Foundation (FBRHC) is a non-profit organization established in 1992 with the purpose of fostering interest in research, study, analysis and reflection on the reality of the Puerto Rican people. It is a multisectorial and multidisciplinary meeting space created with the purpose of generating knowledge and action at the service of Puerto Rico. The headquarters of the FBRHC has a Historical Archive, Museum, Children's Library, Oral History Center, Leadership School, Hall of the Constitutional History of Puerto Rico, Auditorium, Conference Room and Activities Room for visitors and the general public. accessible to students, researchers and historians, and for the use of educational, cultural and corporate entitie

Edwin Reyes
was born between July 2 and 3, 1944, in the Pozas de Ciales neighborhood, Puerto Rico. He studied at the University of Puerto Rico, although he considered himself self-taught. He was part of a group of young poets who founded one of the most important magazines in Puerto Rican literary history: Guajana, in the early sixties. He published four poems: Crónica del vértigo (1977); They are cimarron for Adolfina Villanueva (1985); Ballad of the orphan man (1990) and the imaginary harp (1998). Founder of the cultural section (En Rojo) of the weekly Claridad, where he worked for several years as an editor and columnist. He also maintained columns in El Reportero and in Puerto Rico Illustrated newspaper El Mundo. During his last decade of life he made five film documentaries and a fiction feature film. When he died in 2001, he left several projects unfinished, among them, a novel: El arpa en la creciente. A chapter in the press was published in this novelpublications of poems

Wilfredo Santa Gómez
(also known as Wilfredo G. Santa), born in 1949, is a Puerto Rican columnist and author of self-help books, poetry and stories.1 2 A lifelong vegetarian, he is a specialist in adult and sub-psychiatry -Specialist in children and adolescents psychiatry. He studied psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry of the School of Medicine of Harvard University where he graduated. He worked as a member of the Medical Faculty of the "Metropolitan State Hospital of Massachusetts", the "Gaebler Childrens Hospital", "Cambridge Guidance Clinic, Cambridge Hospital" and the "Cambridge Psychiatric and Research Institute". His works are available on Ebay self-help books. He practices martial arts from adolescence, reaching the rank of Sensei in Karate and Sisung in Kungfu, member "USA Wushu-Kungfu Federation", he taught in low income neighborhoods in PR, arts in which he is still active and practicing daily. He is producer and broadcaster of the public service radio program "ALREADY YOU ARE ONLY" that is broadcast by two stations: Salsoul 98.5FM and Radio Tiempo 1430AM, every Sunday at 9am
